Ep #034 – Louise Breed. Managing Director, Karian and Box

Louise Breed, Managing Director of Client Services for Karian and Box, joins the show today. Karian and Box is an employee engagement consultancy who support large, complex organisations with research, strategy and programmes that improve organisational culture and the employee experience.

Louise combines a wealth of experience in engagement, culture, research and communications, gained from senior roles for many leading British brands including M&S, HSBC and the Co-op. Throughout her career she’s worked closely with executive leaders and CEOs to develop and implement strategies that positively impact employee engagement and embed people-centred decision making within organisations.

In this episode we examine some of the latest research findings from Karian and Box and uncover some practical actions that you can take to improve your leadership capability and the performance of your team or organisation.

We look at what leaders need to do in order to build trust and engagement – as well as what doesn’t work. We also talk about balancing openness and honesty with the need to stay positive and keep those that we lead motivated.
